The gorgeous swamp milkweed serves as a host for young monarch caterpillars and the meadow blazing star provides food for adult monarchs as they prepare for their fall migration. Though many species of milkweed can serve as host plants for larval monarchs, few do so with the style and beauty of swamp milkweed! And when it comes to food sources for migrating monarch butterflies, none are so desirable as the meadow blazing star! They flock to these flowers like magic!

This kit is available as a 25 plant and 50 plant kit. Each kit is split evenly between milkweed and blazing star plants. The meadow blazing star can be spaced at approximately 12″ while the swamp milkweed can be spaced between 18 and 24″.
